Fred W. HOLMES, 59, of 310 Canby Ave. died at the Ben Hur
sanitarium about 5 o'clock Thurs. evening after an illness of
about a week with double pneumonia.
he was b. at Hillsboro, the son of Frank & Anna Holmes,
and on Oct 14, 1918 he was marr. to June E. MILLS.
He was a member of the Moose lodge of this city.
He is survived by his wife, 3 stepchildren, Gale Mills of this
city; Frank Mills of Richmond and Mrs. Pauline PARRIS of
Richmond, his parents,
Mr. & Mrs. Frank Holmes; four brothers, Clyde and Charles
Holmes of Hillsboro; Russell Holmes of Danville, Ill and Frank
Holmes of this city, and 3 sisters, Mrs. Myrtle BROWN of
Hillsboro; Mrs. Walter SCHAEFFER of Indianapolis.
One sister preceded him in death nine years ago.
